They also have a high resistance to other physical conditions like cold weather and will not crack easily from stress. The green and black colored tanks are designed to block out the green spectrum of light, slowing down the growth of waterborne algae. Use the natural white tanks indoors to easily view content levels. Because the resin is FDA approved, people can use these tanks to store potable water. Other common uses include agriculture, irrigation, rain harvesting and construction. This is a 1.2 specific  gravity tank.
