These tanks are made with FDA-approved resin so you can store potable water safely. The resin is also UV resistant, which means these tanks stand up well outdoors. Manufactured using what is called “rotomolding technology,” these tanks end up as a one-piece structure, with no seams, joints or welds to cause leaks. To slow down the growth of waterborne algae, it is best to store water in green or black tanks. The darker colored tanks are more effective at blocking the green spectrum of light. These tanks can be used for a variety of purposes including agriculture, irrigation, well storage, construction, manufacturing and fire sprinkler systems. This is a 1.2 specific gravity tank.
