There are many advantages to Poly water tanks over steel and fiberglass water tanks , one of course is the cost. Poly water tanks are much less expensive and easier to manufacture. They are also much lighter than water tanks made from other materials so they can be transported easier using much less fuel and into areas where other tanks could not be delivered.
Then there is the issue of maintenance, Poly water tanks require no maintenance as they are highly rust and corrosion resistant, making them an excellent choice for potable water storage. If a puncture does occur they can easily be repaired by simply using a plastic repair kit.
Most Poly tanks are made from either Polyethylene or Polypropylene and are typically made using rotational molding technology which really adds to the over all strength and structural integrity. Because Quadel’s Titan Series Water tanks are Roto Molded , they are a one piece design with no seams and are incredibly strong and durable and will last for many years.
