How the Norwesco/BioMicrobics ATU System Works
This Florida DOH-approved and Texas TCEQ-certified Norwesco/Snyder poly septic tanks feature an integrated BioMicrobics MicroFAST 0.4 and 0.5 systems, engineered for simple, effective nitrogen reduction. The process is designed to be highly reliable and low-maintenance.
Primary Settling Zone
Solids drop. Scum floats. The chamber manages waste separation to prep for treatment. An optional trash screen keeps the system protected.
Aeration Powering Performance
An external blower injects oxygen to circulate and energize the wastewater. This supports fast, efficient aerobic digestion inside the septic tank.
Advanced Media Treatment
The heart of the unit. Fixed media inside the ATU is home to natural microbes that break down organics, pathogens, and excess nutrients.
Clean Discharge, Easy Compliance
Water exits after passing a built-in baffle after treatment. Discharged waste meets ANSI/NSF 40 and 245 standards for nitrogen reduction—approved for Florida installs (DOH #53-161-95D-C3) and Texas TCEQ-compliant.
